A century-old Alaçatı stone house requiring careful restoration that honors its heritage while introducing contemporary comfort. The challenge was to respect the original stonework and proportions while creating a modern living experience.
Tasarım Yaklaşımı
Original stone walls were restored and left exposed as the primary design element. We introduced a minimal steel-and-glass insertion that houses the kitchen and bathrooms, creating a clear dialogue between old and new. Underfloor heating and concealed services ensure modern comfort without compromising the historic envelope.
